A Wellness Series designed for Personal Growth

 

Welcome and thank you for your interest in Living Authentically series designed to address various challenges that sometimes block us from living our best selves. 

 

From exploring the how and why of emotions to skills that can manage our moods, Ms. Dalby brings her knowledge about the neurobiology, psychology and physiology behind emotions and offers practices that can support you in your journey toward personal growth.

 

Each program includes practices of Mindfulness to increase empathy and compassion for our humaness.

                               Shame vs Guilt: Understanding the Difference

                               Self Compassion: based on Kristen Neff

                               The Neurobiology of Emotions  

                               A Twist on New Years Resolutions

                               Taming Your Inner Critic

                               Stress: Good Stress vs Bad Stress

 

Programs can be designed for a 1-3 hour presentation or expanded to a daylong retreat or multiple week series, depending on the needs of your community.  The expanded versions will include more educational material and practices.  The program is applicable to all adults 18 and older.


 Living Authentically is presented by Debra Dalby, LCSW who has over 30 years experience in the field of mental health and wellbeing.  Trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy, Sensory Motor Psychotherapy, Brain Neurology, Mindfulness and Self Compassion, Ms. Dalby will guide participants through a better understanding of how emotions are an important part of our nature and practical skills to help manage them.
